Generally, the windsurfing season in the south and southwest of Sri Lanka lasts from November to April before the start of monsoon that brings sea turbulence. The ocean at Negombo is usually suitable for windsurfers from level 3. The shore break requires some experience in the windy months of January, February, and March.
Nilaveli

Bentota
