Negombo Nightlife
Negombo is the fourth largest city in Sri Lanka and is located on the island’s western coast. While you won’t find many nightclubs or discos, there are several lively bars you can visit during your stay. On Beach Road, you’ll find some of the most popular bars in the city, Serendib, Rodeo, Sherry Land and Lords. The bars are within walking distance, inviting visitors to grab a drink at one place before heading to another. They serve cold drinks, and the locals are friendly. These bars also serve food, and some cater to families earlier in the day. While in Negombo, pace yourself and respect the local community. The party scene is limited and the local police tolerate drinking, but they won’t hesitate to ticket you or place you under arrest if you’re publicly intoxicated or disorderly.
